Let's get back to business!
Businesses are anxious to reopen their doors. Employees want to return to work. Consumers want a return to normalcy. And we all want to stay healthy.
To ensure the safety of our community and to help Meridian businesses navigate this new normal, we have created the Keep Meridian Healthy & Open for Business campaign.
The campaign is designed to guide local businesses in reopening in a safe and responsible manner in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect our most vulnerable populations.
Our path to economic recovery begins with implementing the protocols and standards to protect employees and customers and instill confidence that businesses are doing everything possible to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Keep Meridian Healthy & Open for Business includes education, virtual workshops, guidance, and best practices for reopening businesses in accordance with Governor Little’s Stay Healthy Order, the State’s four-stage Idaho Rebounds plan, Central District Health Department and CDC guidelines, and industry-specific governing agencies.
The program goes beyond basic guidelines. We’re encouraging businesses to make a bigger commitment. Customized campaign webinars for various business sectors feature presentations, highlights from industry leaders who are raising the bar, and live Q & A sessions with health professionals and public agency representatives.
Through community-facing collateral materials, participating businesses can illustrate to their employees and customers that they have invested the additional time to learn about, implement and commit to the highest of standards.
The Meridian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Meridian, Central District Health, Crush the Curve Idaho, other community organizations, individuals and industry experts, are offering this comprehensive program to help businesses navigate the reopening process.
This program is FREE and available to all Meridian-based businesses.
